Sharon Hardee is an accomplished photographer/artist, writer and environmental educator. Her photographs have received numerous awards and purchase prizes, including a scholarship to Brooks Institute of Photography. Her work, which includes small, intimate views of the natural world, an autobiographical series and computer-manipulated images, is included in both public and private collections. Hardee's writing and images have been published in Petersen's Photographic Magazine, the literary arts journal Bakunin and an anthology entitled Obsesso-graphia. Her work has also appeared in Audubon Magazine and Fatbits Magazine. Hardee attended Moorpark College where she also worked for several years as photo lab assistant. While there she contributed photographs to a publication on the college's Women's Program. She has taught Cibachrome color printing classes and photography workshops for children.
